Sütaş ensures sustainable food safety and quality performance through the implementation of effective quality management systems compliant with ISO 9001:2015 and FSSC 22000 in all operations.

Our quality and food safety management systems include prerequisite programs as Good Hygiene Practices (GHP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).


Quality at Sütaş is not only managed during the production process, but in the whole of the supply and distribution chain, as required by a valuable and fragile food like milk.

Sütaş continuously provides free trainings for students and for dairy farmers for efficient production of higher quality milk.

Sütaş´s perspective ,is to process the milk in the most hygienic conditions while maintaining its nature as it is, to produce naturally tasty dairy products and to deliver them to the tables in the most healthy, most convenient packaging, without breaking the cold chain.

We procure the highest quality milk, we produce in compliance with the highest hygienic standards and we use the most advanced production technology to produce the most natural and tasty products.

In full compliance with the Veterinary Services, Plant Health, Food and Feed Law No. 5996, Sütaş monitors and audits all the steps from the beginning of the supply chain (farm) to its end (table) with its unique, integrated business model called "From Farm to Table."

GMP (GMP Good Manufacturing Practices) is a system to ensure that products meet food safety, quality and legal requirements. This set of rules are the prerequisite programs of HACCP system, one of the main components of the Food Safety Management System. Sütaş GMP improved from 1975 onward and became the most important aspects of the food safety management system and indispensable for our production system.

In May 2014, Sütaş converted its existing Food Safety Management System to FSSC 22000 Food Safety Management System that provides stronger GMP management than ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System.

Sütaş´s quality control systems are confirmed by the official analyses conducted by the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock and the Ministry of Health, and the audits and analyses conducted by the Turkish Standards Institute that certified our FSSC 22000 system.

Approval certificates issued by the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock for our Karacabey and Aksaray facilities confirm that the production conditions comply with the Veterinary Services, Plant Health, Food and Feed Law No. 5996 and the Food Safety Management System

ISO 9001 Quality Management System : This system helps to continually monitor and manage quality across all operations, and outlines ways to achieve, as well as benchmark, consistent performance and service. It provides a framework and set of principles that ensure a common-sense approach to the management of the organization to consistently satisfy customers and other stakeholders.

FSSC 22000 Food Safety Management System The FSSC System is designed to provide with an ISO based FSMS certification that is recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). The FSSC 22000 system uses a management systems approach to food safety, using ISO 22000 for the management system requirements and ISO Technical Standards for prerequisite program requirements.

ISO 14001 Environment Management System: ISO 14001 is a standard designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities and impacts. It also helps to grow sustainably while reducing the environmental impact of this growth.

ISO 50001 Energy Management SystemThe main objective of the standard is to improve energy-related performance and energy efficiency continuously and to identify energy reduction opportunities.

OHSAS 18001 Operational Health and Safety System: This standard helps you put in place the policies, procedures and controls needed for your organization to achieve the best possible working conditions, aligned to internationally recognize best practice. It exists to help put in place demonstrably sound occupational health and safety performance.
